After he fired his machine pistol and his shotgun at the armored SWAT Van, the Joker grabbed his rocket-propelled grenade launcher, fired it twice at the leading police car, and destroyed it and its driver.
One of the SWAT Members mistook the firearm for a bazooka.

- The Soviet-built RPG-7 (РПГ-7) is one of the most common weapons in the world. In addition to the AK-47, the RPG-7 has been used in virtually every war zone since its introduction in 1961.
- The exact weapon used in the film was a Chinese-built copy of the RPG-7: the Type 69 RPG, that was made by Norinco.
